Don't Wait When It Hurts

Dental emergencies don't keep office hours — but ignoring them can turn a small problem into a serious one. If you have severe pain, swelling, bleeding, or a knocked-out tooth, call us first. We'll triage over the phone and get you seen fast.

For most emergencies, calling your dentist is faster and more effective than going to the ER — and a fraction of the cost.

  • Severe or persistent toothache
  • Knocked-out, loose, or broken tooth
  • Lost or damaged crown or filling
  • Swelling, abscess, or facial pain
  • Broken denture or wire from braces

What We Handle Fast

Whatever's happening, we've seen it before — and we have a calm plan to help.

Severe Toothache

Throbbing, sharp, or constant pain — often a sign of infection that needs immediate attention.

Broken/Chipped Tooth

Save the piece if you can. We can often repair the tooth same-day with bonding or a crown.

Knocked-Out Tooth

Time matters. Keep the tooth moist (in milk or saline) and call us immediately — re-implantation may be possible.

Swelling Or Abscess

Facial swelling can signal a serious infection. Call us — we'll get you in quickly to drain and treat it.

Lost Crown Or Filling

Can usually be re-cemented or replaced same-day. Don't try to glue it yourself.

Broken Denture

We can repair most dentures quickly so you're not without your smile for long.

What To Do Right Now

Before you reach our office, here's how to manage common emergencies.

For Toothache

Rinse with warm salt water, floss to remove debris, and use a cold compress. Call us.

For Knocked-Out Tooth

Hold it by the crown (not root), rinse gently, and place in milk or saline. Call us within 30 minutes.

For Broken Tooth

Save any pieces, rinse with warm water, and apply gauze if there's bleeding. Cold compress for swelling.

For Swelling

Cold compress and over-the-counter pain reliever. Get to us quickly — infection can spread.

Calm, Fast, Compassionate Care

The moment you call, our team springs into action — triaging your situation, getting you on the schedule, and walking you through what to do until you arrive.

  • Phone triage from a real person — not a recording
  • Same-day appointments for true emergencies
  • Pain management before any other treatment
  • Clear plan and written estimate before we proceed
  • Bilingual care — English & Español

Common Questions

What counts as a dental emergency?
Severe pain, knocked-out or broken teeth, lost crowns or fillings, dental abscess, swelling, or any injury to the mouth. When in doubt, call us — we'll help you decide if it's urgent.
Should I go to the ER instead?
For most dental emergencies, your dentist can help faster and far cheaper. Go to the ER only if you have uncontrolled bleeding, trouble breathing or swallowing, or a serious facial injury.
Will my insurance cover emergency care?
Most insurance plans cover emergency exams and necessary treatment. We'll verify your benefits and walk through any out-of-pocket costs before treatment.
What if it's after-hours?
Call our number — we have an emergency protocol and will get you the care you need as soon as possible.
Can a knocked-out tooth be saved?
Often yes — but time matters. Keep the tooth moist (in milk or saliva), don't scrub the root, and get to us within 30–60 minutes for the best chance of re-implantation.
